Congrats on making it through the final chemo–as for being careful of whom you come in contact with, why restrict yourself to only 7-10 days? Take it from Lucky Dog, people are nothing but trouble.

For your first beer as a non-zombie, shall it be an Old Style, or is that just for special occasions?

Hey – yes, it’s a rough patch – but really you sound like you’re nearing the end of this odd (and highly readable) stage of things. Keep going! You can do it (all night long).

Okay – now on to me. We FINALLY went to La Madusa (and Lottie’s). 2 words: yumm-my. OMG. Soooooo good (Teen Girl Squad approved). Had just splendid bite after splended bit. Hung with our new, sapphic BFFs (can’t remember their names, but just too nice) and laughed and scratched ourselves into a Sicilian octopus-and-hummus coma. Will definitely go back (esp. for the Wednesday Farmer’s Market 3 course for $25 meal).

Beth, when I was anemic from my UC, I had to drink liquid iron. Wherever your anemia takes you, don’t go here. Tastes like crap, smells like crap…I think it was made from crap.
