About the Diseased
Beth and I set up this blog to communicate the details of how she is doing with treatments for her cervical cancer. Although it has only been a few weeks since she was diagnosed, a couple of things jump out: 1) people want details but are afraid to ask and 2) repeating the details for everyone we know gets annoying. One of Scott’s colleagues mentioned that a friend of his did this and it seemed to work out great.

About Beth: Superb athlete. Pizza maker. TV junkie. Disease and injury free aside from stage 1b cervical cancer, a bunion, several knee surgeries, and a broken face following a nasty ski accident in 2006. Beth is also willing to take in just about any stray cat. |

About Scott: Turn-ons: alpine skiing, cooking (everything but pizza), food, history, home improvement, Penelope Cruz, tennis, James Bond movies, the Chicago Bears, and travel. Turn-offs: home improvement, contractors, EoBs, and phone calls. He is also not so crazy about cancer.
Scott is currently trying to recruit Denzel to play him in his life’s story (“When Genius Fails…Frequently”). |

Beth…you are completely loved and if you need anything let me know! I will even shave my head so you don’t have to have a bald head by yourself!!!!!! We can start a club!
